All the girls were abused by Abby, Maddie too. Putting a child on a pedestal and isolating her from her friends this way is not any less harmful than being verbally abusive the way she is towards the other girls. Melissa should have had a backbone and told Abby that this is unnecessary.

Melissa knows that Maddie isn’t comfortable showing off her crowns. She doesn’t stick up for herself and say “no my daughter doesn’t feel comfortable rubbing her crowns in her friends face” . I like Melissa but that’s her only problem that she doesn’t stick up for herself.

melissa is a coward. sure, maddie has a right to be excited because of her victories, but abby trying to make rub it in her FRIENDS' faces was just wrong. and melissa, once again, would rather have maddie be uncomfortable and the girls upset than stand up for abby and lose her rights to good coreography and solos every week.

Christi said that Meddie always wins because she gets the best choreography, maybe it's true in a way. actually It doesn't matter if you have the best choreography, but how you put it to the show, that makes your profit. You can have the best choreography if you want, but in the end it depends on you.

It also annoyed me that in the first episode this season, she got mad at Chloe for signing autographs, telling her she let the one video go to her head.

why i think melissa has a hard time sticking up for herself with abby is coz she knows that maddie is not just abby’s favourite but out of my moms melissa is also the favourite so it puts a lot of stress on her too coz she as well as maddie doesn’t wanna disappoint abby

I feel so bad! Abby is saying “Maddie! Why aren’t you rubbing it in their faces!?!?” Why do you think Abby? She’s not a brat and doesn’t want to make the girls feel bad! She’s obviously proud of them, but not enough to make the other girls feel like they’re not as good as her. She’s a child! A very nice child! I really don’t like that Abby made her do this (even if it was the producers fault)

Abby was so wrong for this. «Rub it in their face if you have to» why the hell would she ever have to do that, no one is questioning her success. Literally no one got anything out of this. The girls feel bad, maddie feels bad, all the moms feel bad for maddie and the other kids. Why did abby constantly try to pin maddie against her literal bast friends? Why would a grown woman intentionally do that
