did anyone notice that when chloe is talking about gino and the fact that they haven’t danced with a boy before, she looks so much younger. especially when you see her in the studio, she looks so different. i don’t know if this interview was edited into the episode and she had said something similar a season previous, but i just don’t understand. that does not look like season 4 chloe, she looks so so much younger!!

Gino and Mickey would have been a great addition to the team, especially as Mickey got on with Abby so well. I wonder if maybe the producers just didn’t want a Dance Dad? 😂

I found it so weird when Abby would try and force chemistry and connections between boy and girl dancers, basically sexualising them, like here, and with Brooke and Brandon. It was so inappropriate. I understand they need to have a certain level of connection/chemistry in order to dance comfortably together, but two dancers dancing together doesn’t have to mean there needs to be romantic connections there, or have actions in like this when they are literal kids. Chloe and Maddie danced perfect together. If anything forcing connections will only make the dancers more uncomfortable it won’t create a bond, there isn’t a genuine connection and they don’t feel comfortable on stage because abby put so much pressure on them to have one, she made them feel awkward.
