Intermediate fly lines are probably the best way to fish streamers. In this video, we get out on the water and catch some fish.

Love and enjoy your videos. I’m bumping up my learning curve with intermediate full sinking line and this is the best online tutorial

YOU & I both LOVE river smallmouth...
Me?
I now use a "Fox Rod" (aka micro-skagit) for single & two-handed spey/skagit casting.
9 or 10 ft 3-piece rods with (small) fighting butts
7 or 8 wt fast-action in the bottom 2 sections
3 or 4 wt soft-action in the tip section
THIS IS A FANTASTIC COMBINATION FOR RIVER SMALLMOUTH
- the stiffer LOWER sections give you EFFORTLESS POWER for 2-handed 105 ft casts from a 9 or 10 ft rod :-O
- the soft TIP section gives you BEND (needed for power) AND "FEEL" for what end up being a day's worth of 10 to 14 inch small mouth that NEED a soft tip so you ENJOY the fight

KEEP UP THE GREAT VIDEOS - LOVE your casting techniques !!!

If you were to have one line besides a floater for river smallmouth and streamer fishing large brown trout what would you use? Thanks great videos.

If you could only have one line, salt and freshwater, it would have to be an inter.

Previous video you mention that intermediate lines will not hit bottom due to current gravity but now you are saying that your intermediate line is hitting bottom.
