Watch live: Trump to hit Harris in remarks from Mar-a-Lago

Former President Trump will hold a press conference Thursday from his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida, with his ire focused on Vice President Harris, who became the official Democratic nominee for president earlier this week.

Trump's announcement comes as his campaign has sought to turn Harris’s lack of media interviews into an issue after she announced Gov. Tim Walz (R-Minn.) as her running mate, continues to surge in the polls and draws large crowds on the campaign trail.

The vice president has not taken questions from reporters on the record since Biden announced he would not seek reelection and she was elevated to the top of the Democratic ticket.

The event is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
