What does the EU GDPR mean for your business in the UK?

Alan Calder, IT Governance Founder and Executive Chairman, answers the important questions surrounding the EU GDPR and how it affects businesses in the UK.
From the end of the Brexit transition period on 31 December 2020, the EU GDPR will be superseded by the UK GDPR in the United Kingdom. There is little material difference between what the two laws require UK data controllers and processors to do, but if your organisation processes EU residents’ personal data, you will need to make some changes to the way you operate.
