I find this gun very funny for two reasons - it would be allowed in restrictive states easily because it's not "fully semi-automatic" and even though semi-auto > lever action, I want this badly.

I live in NY and my friend wants to purchase his first firearm and being that we are 18 we aren’t allowed to purchase (not that I couldn’t get one if I wanted to) semiautomatic firearms under the new laws that the state (unfortunately) passed this year. I was telling him to go for a lever action and I sent him some models such as the Henry Long ranger but this here firearm seems amazing for someone who can’t purchase a semiautomatic. I’ll forward this to him so he can check it out. (Unfortunately I live in NYC so I can’t legally purchase anything without a permit that I can’t apply for until I’m 21).
