Nice when they work, but all are reliant on battery power. If the battery goes flat you can't shift into 'N' for towing or moving out of the way. Unless you know where the override is hidden, and that varies with all makes. Can be frustrating for towtruck drivers and mechanics. Been there, done it!

In that case I still like the traditional cars they're simple no need to switch many buttons for them to run

а я уже запутался во всём этом.

Lets be honest the only gear shifters we like are the “normal”/“classic” style and maybe the gear shifter thats on the steering column that operates similar to the signals. Most benz have that and It’s simple and satisfying to use.

Changingtesting

On a BMW. No need to click/shift for each gear. for ex.
To shift from up to down (R to D)
Just hold the selector all the way down. It will shift/select automatically from *Reverse* to *Drive*
