How to troubleshoot frequent shutdowns on a Mac:

Do a proper shutdown

Reset SMC

To check if your Mac has the T2 security chip, hold down Option and click on the Apple icon. Then, click System Information - Controller.

Monitor battery health

Update your Mac (Apple icon - System Preferences - Software Update)

I got a imac from a guy i work with. If i time it from when i press the power button, it shuts down after a very precise 30 mins. It's not random and even without a hdd or ssd in it, no OS just letting it in the boot menu, it will shut after 30 mins. Even Apple themselves could not resolve it. In that 30 mins, the computer works perfectly.

If all five steps fail, reset the NVRAM, then reinstall the OS. If the panic occurs after reinstalling check all peripherals and connections.
