I just want to say that I love the way these two seem to get along in the video. Considering Dave left and then Tom entered... and then Dave just returned, and seeing them now so chill talking about their solos and how Tom plays stuff that Dave wrote, or Dave saying "Damn, I shouldn't have left" dunno, I think those things were my favourite something in the video.

In too Deep solo is always one of my favorites, even if pretty simple / straightforward.

Criticizing these guys for not playing perfectly is the complete opposite of punk like come on guys.

4:04 - I am fascinated by the way he bends his thumb as he picks the high string.

Beyond just both being great guitarists, they’re both total class acts. For each of them, this could have been an extremely awkward scenario, but they both seem super mature about it and give each other a ton of respect and credit. I’m super glad that when Dave came back, they didn’t kick Tom out and instead made it work with both of them being in the band.

These dudes are super cool. I love how humble and complementary of one another they are. I appreciate the fact that they don't have huge egos and the fact that Dave questioned his decision in leaving the band after hearing "Screaming Bloody Murder". Awesome.

You can tell Daves not threatened at all, no ego. Genuine love for the music

I met Dave around 2004 when Sum 41 toured with Good Charlotte and i have to say he was one of the most genuinely nice persons i've ever met! He took the time to take photos with everyone in line and ask about how WE were doing. You don't get any better than that nowadays.

It's nice to see that they actaully get along and have a mutual agreement when it comes to playing.

I'm just grateful that they can be buds and not clash over being the new and old guitarists, but meshing and being amazing together. Dont see an old member come back and they keep their new guitarist and they both end up just doing their own things.. Definitely ny favorite band,

To everyone complaining about them being sloppy
1 they’re famous professionals and you’re not
2 they said it was early in the morning so they probably just woke up
3 this isn’t a live concert or them in studio they don’t have to be perfect 100% of the time
4 they really weren’t even that bad at playing

I got to admit the Out For Blood solo is one of their best solos to me.... at least it's one of my favourite omg

Sum 41 was the first CD with a parental advisory sticker I conned my mom into buying for me as a kid, and I've loved Dave's guitar solos ever since. It's really cool to see him break it down all these years later.
