Random speculation: December 10th. That was the day the 1978 Superman film premiered, and since James Gunn is talking a lot about wanting to pay tribute to the original film, it would make sense to have the first proper trailer be released in honour of that, so either December 10th or 15th, since that was when the film was properly released.

I'm excited about the fact that we now have a release window for the first Superman movie trailer, but more so that it is very soon. While I think that such an anticipated movie warrants a trailer release at an event, if the Superman movie trailer ends up just being shared online as a surprise release, then I'm sure the internet will be set ablaze just the same. David Corenswet's Man of Steel and the rest of the cast looked great in the DC film's set photos, so I'm looking forward to what Superman has in store.
