This trailer looks like it straight came off some of the best and colorful Superman comics out there! Action and special effects finally look to be on the same level as an Avengers movie… high hopes for this one 🔥🔥🔥

Impossible to express how profoundly this trailer affected this longtime (more than half a century) Superman (and Lois Lane) fan. And the icing on the cake is that we knew David when he was younger and no one deserves to play this role more. He's going to be magnificent, as is Rachel Brosnahan and the rest of the cast.

As a Man of Steel fan, I feel this is the kind of Superman we needed now: A Superman who shows kindness to the world in an old fashioned. And being the embodiment of truth, justice and a better tomorrow.

Can we just give some credit to John Williams? Like it has been almost 50 years since they used his song in the original superman and they are still using it today?

This is a great teaser for the upcoming Superman movie. The new take of the classic Donnerverse Superman theme was a nice touch, as was the addition of Krypto. This teaser really does show an understanding of Superman and why he's needed in the world. I'm hyped for this movie.

I'm worried about this one. The Superman story has, in my opinion, the potential to have the most emotional impact of any of the superhero stories out there. This alien, struggling to grow up on earth, struggling to find his place and his role, dealing with the difficulties of who he is and how he fits in among us. Without all the crazy superpowered opponents, that story alone could be a powerful first movie that really invests us in the character and this universe. And this trailer seems to be the opposite - all kinds of crazy opponents, and friggin superdog? It comes off as too wacky. I dunno. Superman has always been my favorite and I'll give this a chance, but I don't know.
I feel like if Man of Steel had been drawn out into 2 movies it could have been amazing - but they rushed the early Clark and early days of Superman part and rushed straight into General Zod and kryptonian invasion stuff. You don't have to go bigger and crazier than all the other superhero stuff out there, you can take your time, invest us emotionally, then really deliver some amazing films.
