I've had 3 natural births and 3 C-sections... With my 1st C-section, the epidural didn't work so I could feel them cutting me open and pulling my baby out. They finally put me to sleep after already taking her out (like, "Gee, thanks, now I don't have to feel you stitch me closed, or see my baby for awhile until I wake up again! How thoughtful of you!" *Cough splutter ahem ahem!*) but my Mom and husband both told me that she was grey and not breathing when they pulled her out which would have panicked me if I had been awake. When I finally did wake up and asked to see her, they said she was in the NICU which freaked me out. She was my smallest baby, but after having 3 8 pounders, she had a lot of room to move in the womb and therefore, was sideways, so the C-section was needed. My last 2 C-sections were a piece of cake though. Then again, even though I had an episiotomy with my 1st daughter, (I have 5 girls and one boy) none of my natural deliveries were traumatic for me. Me and my babies were blessed.

do you have to do labor? or can you choose?

1. Patient = Mother who is pregnant... Pregnancy is a natural occurrence of life not a disease.
2. Epidural... If and when mentioned must never be done with such carefree attitude anyone looking for information do your own research and know the risks involved and here we are talking about have 2 to 3 cesarean is oh business as usual.
Know that you will live with the consequences of what they are offering and letting you believe is a norm its not its a major surgery and not at all worth to risk the life of a healthy mother or an infant. Do you research take some responsibility rather than believing these info.Mercials
