People who don't read comics probably think he's a big dumb brute, but Bane has been able to outsmart Batman more times than you'd expect.
Pairing him with Deathstroke would be great.

But, am I the only one thinking that this was maybe inspired by Deadpool and Wolverine? Hmmm

Journalists need to do better. Too many are running with the Bane/Slade headline but there is not real concrete proof that they will even be the leads of the film. Secret Six before Sinister Six would be wild, though.

As we haven't heard ANYTHING about Brave and the Bold I'm inclined to think this is Brave and the Bold related. I don't think this is a Secret Six movie or anything like that.

I feel like if they were making a movie like this it would have to be involved in the larger plot somehow. I’m imagining something like The Light in young justice. They would be orchestrating most of the larger bad guy stuff in the background, but not necessarily have to be involved in every bad guy in every movie.

I thought Deathstroke was an extraordinarily well developed villain, per the writing, and acting by Esai Morales, on Titans. And you have explained that Deathstroke is a Titans' villain and not a Batman one. I remember Deathstroke being on Green Arrow - but that seemed to tie in with his genesis and appeal with new, younger audiences. At any rate, though I'm not much of a comic book reader - having Bane and Deathstroke together as villains doesn't appeal to me. Just my humble opinion -

I’m so excited and hopeful for the DCU, but I have to say that it seems like there are way more Antihero Teams than Hero Teams (Suicide Squad, Creature Commandos, Authority, Lordtec League, and now Secret 6). There’s the Teen Titans movie but we haven’t heard anything more about that since, and we speculate about JL International, but I’m curious when those will actually happen

Still so much we dont know, but villain projects that dont include the hero are so tired out, because inevitably they all turn into a bit of an anti-hero.

Penguin is a little different because its after the Batman movie where we've already seen the character and is a bridge between 2 movies
