Accurate. Both are awesome but Batman stories have a unique feel to them that I can't quite explain. Some Spidey stories make you feel something but Batman stories achieve that more often in my experience.

For those who think Spiderman has suffered more...Batman's been tortured WAY more:
-His childhood best friend turned into a villain (Hush)
-His adulthood best friend turned into a villain (Two Face)
-Bane broke his back
-Bane killed Alfred
-His parents were murdered in front of his eyes when he was 8
-His adopted son Jason Todd got killed by Joker
-Jason Todd got back to life and hated him, turning into what Batman never wanted for him, even trying to kill Batman
-He will never be able to be in a relationship with anyone (WonderWoman, Catwoman, etc) because he just can't
-Lost the trust of his Bat-family in "Death of the Family"
-In some futures, Bruce ends up alone forever consumed by being Batman

spiderman is my second favourite and I would give the points to him but I will say batman's development from under the red hood all the way to the dark knight returns was impeccable. it might just be me but I've related to batman more
