🌲 What else can I try with this pinecone jam? It's not too sweet compared to other jams - thank you Beryl!

Vibrating in my seat at the fact that I'll finally get an excuse to eat a pinecone without looking feral (they just smell so GOOD)

OMG THIS IS MY CHILDHOOD!!! Thank you for talking about these, they are so good! The writing on the jar is Russian by the way :) I believe that this jam was created because pine cones grow year around and it was an old tradition to turn them into jam to enjoy over harsh winters. Basically all of Russian cuisine is something picled, jamed, preserved, or a meat wrapped in dough. Good none the less❤️ thanks for sharing this!!!!

This is so nostalgic for me! My mom made me drink tea with pinecone and cranberry jam every time I got sick as a kid. You should try mixing it into some hot black tea, it’s very nice

This is awesome! I never would have thought of this but we eat bark sometimes so this seems more appealing lol

I've had this in culinary class! It was so good! We put it in practical application. We tried dressing a few deserts with it and on toasted bread and it was so fresh and sweet at the same time! Great times...😊

Oh, pinecon jam is very favorable in Syberia and Far-Eastern Russia. We usually add it to tea and eat straight up from bread without toasting it. Gonna try toasted bread option, sounds delicious... and crispy.

(Btw it seems that you jam will expire in decemder 22, though I couldn't see the year, sorry :"D)
