The first clip was honestly a stunning endorsement for ring doorbell cameras. It held up incredibly well against the hammer and other weapons.

The unfortunate thing about that Groves case is that the authorities are applying logical punishments against a guy with an illogical vendetta. Obviously harassment is what he *wants*, the fines and monitoring are just nuisances. Like you said, the irritating thing is that if/when he escalates and harms the other guy they’ll say “we did all we could!”

That first guy...I have no words. Why do that to someone? And why keep doing it after being fined and punished for it? That door at the end was an absolute legend.

Why do people get Ring installed to protect their property, but still proceed to open the door to unknown people? Madness!

Ring has honestly helped my family immensely.

In May this year two young men showed up at my door at 8pm while I was at work and my mom and step dad were winding down for bed. Unlike on the second video, my family looked at the camera on their phone, they asked to use a phone to call their mom when answered on the speaker. My step dad had the idea of holding a phone up to the window and offering to put it on speaker, but they, thankfully, had an uneasy feeling and refused to open the door.

The guys gave him the number and he called on speaker as he said he would. They asked their mom to pick them up at the hospital which is right around the corner of my house (Less than 100 yards away). As they left 4 cop cars came rolling up the street with their search lights on. One ran (later to be taken in) and the other gave in immediately. They had apparently killed an older man in his home 2 blocks away near a corner store in our neighborhood.

Not only did we have the footage Incase they weren't instantly caught as they were, but more importantly it actually kept my family safe.

The camera paid for itself tenfold with that single event.

2:04 Seeing that door or fence or whatever falling on the abusive neighbor was SO satisfying. I hope Mr. Prasad (spelling? sorry if I got it wrong) gets the peace he deserves. On another note, those cameras are INCREDIBLY sturdy if they're holding up against a hammer for that long.

I love how some people make fun of others who text or call to let you know they have arrived but honestly it's to make sure you know who your opening that door for. I live out in the country so situations like this are not common (thankfully) but watching these videos has increased my awareness. Thank you

The guy that creeped up on the mother and son sent chills down my spine. That guy didn’t blink for ANYTHING! I’m wondering if he was drugged up? I do know one thing…when he backed away and just stood there, there was something evil. Be careful out there everyone!
