What Are The Best iPad Screen Protectors in 2024? I've Tested 27...Here's My Top Picks!

My biggest issue with iPad screen protectors is that they suck the life out of my iPad’s screen or accessories. BUT in the last while, I’ve come across a product that checks off all my iPad screen protector needs! Now…this product, is it a tempered glass screen protector, a paper-like/matte protector, glass film or magnetic removable protector?

Matte Film:
-Primarily used for iPads with Apple Pencils and gaming due to its friction that mimics paper.
-Pros: Enhances the feel of writing and gaming controls.
-Cons: Difficult to install; wears down stylus nubs faster and can make fingers tired due to increased resistance.

Glass Film:
-Ideal for users who don’t frequently use the Apple Pencil and prefer a glass-like appearance without the risk of chipping.
-Made of thin, clear polycarbonate, not actual glass, offering good screen protection and scratch resistance.
-Challenges include noticeable edges that can gather dust and tricky installation.

Tempered Glass:
-Provides excellent scratch protection at a Moh's hardness of 6 or 7, preserving the iPad's screen clarity and color.

Hands down Bellemond is the best for artists. I've had one on my iPad pro 11 inch for the past year, hasn't worn down my pens at all and I've never needed to replace it. It came as a two pack and the price point was so reasonable. The only downside -is that they haven't made a bigger one yet for the 13-inch pads

I’d love to see matte glass screen protectors included in your next comparison.
I found speckle and wear to be a big problem with matte films, and the Mothca one I bought avoids this. But I don’t know if that’s the best of this type.
There is a hit to contrast, but I really prefer how it looks and feels over the iPad Pro screen’s normal finish.
Of course the new Pros do have a matte option now if you get the 1TB model - and I’m sure that looks even better.
