As a new fan in the sport.. this is the first time i will ever witness this as we step and transition into a new era in formula 1. Can't wait to see it!

having this environment where teams are against more teams joining because the prize money gets spread out is crazy to me. i think the root of the problem is that we have these performers (the drivers and teams) who aren't paid a "salary" by the company employing them (F1) while they profit off of them providing entertainment by racing. i think a basic salary for competing would help the sport, and help equality with the teams at the back of the grid to not get stuck there because they arent winning prize money. even if youre not winning, youre still out there helping make money for f1 and that should be rewarded on some level

Fans were upset that Gunther Steiner was fired, but Hass has improved. Fans were upset that Andretti was rejected, but Cadillac has been accepted as the 11th team. Perhaps the fans don't always know What's best and should leave the decision making to the professionals.
