Meg is joined by Alex Godfrey from Sequential checking out the awesome new Sequential Trigon 6 a 6-Voice Polyphonic Analogue Synth! Sequentials take on the classic 3-Oscillator plus ladder filter sound that really defined the dawn of the synth evolution.

Sequential are known for their redesign of analogue instruments incorporating them into their modern synths with impressive capabilities. The trigon 6 is no different! Featuring an enhanced version of the ladder filter, designed for their pro-3 model, plus those 3 Oscillators with triangle saw and pulse wave features. The possibilites with this synth are endless. With that switchable 2/4 pole resonant filter, with feedback and drive options, you have the potential to go from a bold and crunchy sound to silky and smooth with just the turn of a knob.

As you'd expect the trigon 6 has all the features of the beloved Prophet-6 and OB-6 synths - 6 voice polyphony, playability, easy to program, semi weighted keyboard with velcoity and after touch. But this one packs a punch with its unmistakable '3-oscillators through a ladder filter' sound.

Featuring 500 on board factory presets and 500 user presets to work through, the capabilities of this synth are endlessly impressive. Also present is the Trigon-6 Poly-mod feature with enhancements for sound design as well as the dual effects section including studio quality reverb, delays, chorus, flangers and phasers. Completely analogue stereo distortion and the incredible vintage knob which helps to add that old school vintage character to this modern and powerful synth!

Nice ORGAN! I can see some potential for this. It'd be awesome if it had some ENVELOPES though, so you can make EVOLVING sounds on it, l;ike youo can on a SYNTHESIZER. :)

Always looking for a solid synth that doesn't get too complicated. Been stuck plugging my S03 through my Boss ME-80 (multi effects board) to get some sounds. LoL Thank you for the video.
