Twin Peaks season 3 episode 10 ten things you might have missed. The return part 10 has some easter eggs going on.
Twin Peaks season 3 part 10 gave us a lot of heavy scenes. Richard Horne attacking Miriam, and later assaulting and robbing his grandmother. We take a closer look to find easter eggs and callbacks that you might have missed on a first watch.
Season 3 of Twin Peaks is so much fun because you don't know where it's going to lead you, and in that sense episode 10 was no different. Some of the ten things we noticed in this episode include: Johnny Horne's bear strikes a resemblence to the David Lynch character from Dumbland, Rebekah Del Rio was the musical artist who also showed up in Mullholland drive, the Log Lady's line about Laura is one we've heard before, and the letter that deputy Chad intercepted may have been the wrong Miriam.

The Log Lady intros were filmed in the mid nineties for when Twin Peaks was re-run on the Bravo channel.

The car that Richard is driving is a Saturn. I only mention that due to the repeated references to Saturn and Jupiter in the original series.

One thing you might have missed is when Gordon has a vision of Laura he also hears her mother's voice screaming her name (I wouldn't notice myself without the subtitles)...

There's a little angel statue in front of the Miriam's trailer. Maybe a connection to Laura's angel in the black lodge or to the painting in her room? It might be nothing...

Idk but to me, when the log lady said it all comes out now flowing like a river, it feels like the episodes from now on are going to start spilling more answers about who people really are like phillip jeffries, how dougie was created, how new york, south dakota, las vegas and twin peaks are linked, what the experiment is, what is laura palmer etc...I guess im one of the few that actually enjoyed Rebekah Del Rio singing. The song had clues in it. My dream is to go to that place, you know the one.Where it all began on a starry night.You said hold me hold me hold meDont be afraid we are with the stars(something in spanish i couldnt quite figure out)I saw them in your eyes, in your words and in your kissesDown deep in your eyes I saw the stars but now there are no starsNo stars. It sorta ties in with log lady saying that the moon and stars are fading from the sky and what will be in the darkness.GOT seems to be going through the same cellestial crises too!!

Anyone else think at this point that the box watcher in the season premiere getting mutilated is exactly what was supposed to happen?

It has been suggested that it was another way of catching and killing Cooper, but the hitmen were already in place in Nevada, and the guy watching the box was not armed and had no idea what happened to the people who had the job before him.

The way the man (in the photo with The Box and Doppleganger Cooper) is sitting (levitating?) in an almost Yogic-like Lotus position, with his shaven head and draped, Monk-like garb, leads me to believe that he may have some association or call back to Cooper's mentions of Tibetan Monks in the first season of Twin Peaks... though I have no idea where this would lead, it's interesting food for thought in regard to Lynch's visual clues.

I'm thinking that Chad grabbed a letter from the wrong Miriam. The letter may also come the next day.... very interesting though.

A video on the log lady intros in general may be a good idea. If you have time (may be hard to find time now with GoT). I know she mentions the pale horse and other interesting things.

Those Log Lady intros were made for when the series ran on Bravo in the later '90s.

I think the Log Lady intros were used when Bravo rebroadcast the series. It was part of a thing they did: "TV Too Good For TV."

When Gordon opens the door, we see the Laura scene reversed from Gordon's point view and then from the outside in, it's playing in the correct direction, so this could have something to do with which side of the situation Gordon is on.

Pete, let me just say that I think you are doing a great job interpreting the series, I like that you point out stuff but don't get carried away too much. I think those mysteries the show is giving us are satisfying in themselves as they are carefully constructed to make us puzzled. At the same time as I want to get my answers, I love to just speculate about them. Looking forward to your next videos, in the meantime I'll try to finish the book (you inspired me to get it, actually ;)) One question: are you planning to do a video or focus partly a bit more on Blue Rose? I'm thinking it might be of importance as it's Gordon Cole's thing.
