Biden in State of Union exhorts Congress: 'Finish the job'

President Joe Biden exhorted Congress Tuesday night to work with him to “finish the job” of rebuilding the economy and uniting the nation as he delivered a State of the Union address aimed at reassuring a country beset by pessimism and fraught political divisions.

In his 73-minute speech, Biden sought to portray a nation dramatically improved from the one he took charge of two years ago: from a reeling economy to one prosperous with new jobs; from a crippled, pandemic-weary nation to one that has now reopened, and a democracy that has survived its biggest test since the Civil War.

We put millions of Americans out of work, and then when we allowed them to go back to work we counted those as new jobs. I drove up the price of gasoline to the highest it's ever been in America's history, and then as the price came back down I claimed credit for reducing the price of gasoline. I drove inflation to record highs and then when it stopped climbing as fast, I claimed credit for reducing inflation. Two things. Sending everyone home during a pandemic and counting thier employment as they come back does not equal new jobs. Of course it's the most in 50 years. We haven't had a sketchy pandemic in 50 years.
Second to call Nancy Pelosi the best speaker there has ever been while we literally see her and her husband massively insider trading right in our faces is another level of condescending.
Alright three. Lastly, I can't believe anything this guy says. His son is disgusting, and theyy both under investigation for business deals with the same two countries we're banging on for war. I'm completely over it with corrupt politicians acting like everything is under control while they shovel as much $$$ to themselves and friendly corporations as they can before the investigations get too deep.

Biden’s State of the Union address was as great as any historically wonderful magician!! You couldn’t even see the strings holding Biden up or moving his mouth. Simply amazing
