funny, we have the same monitor (speakers) setup. The Behritone reference speakers are fantastic, although mine is black and I only have the one since it's meant for mono. I have the HS8s, and looks like you have the 10 or 12s? I am curious if you actually use the second Behritone or you bought both at the same time and figured why not set it up. It's great for mono mixing and testing a mix, but I don't believe it was designed for stereo.

Was also thinking about buying one like this for $1200 then thought, my music doesn't really benefit for getting it even tho I had the money. So I ended up buying two 32 inch HD monitors for $350. If anything I might get a third monitor to have the mixer, plugin and DAW on their own screen for a fraction of the price!

Thinking of getting one of these for DAW use mainly but concerned about the wide speaker placement.. That perfect isosceles triangle would move my seating position miles back ??? How was this to use from an audio aspect?

Hey man, I have a question for you - Not sure if you will even see this. I have a 49 inch wide and I also make music. I am wondering. Do you feel your studio monitors sit too wide because of the 49 inch monitor. I am worried my studio monitors will be too widely sat when I setup my studio. How do your studio monitors sound that wide?

You opened it from the wrong side of the box it states on the flaps to open from the other side. It makes putting on the base easier and the monitor is on its face. The only reason I caught that is I did the same thing :D

Super ultra wide monitors are great for work, but horrible for watching videos or playing games.

I personally use a 29" ultra wide but want 3 more (using fl studio and wanting to have 1 screen for mixer, 1 screen for piano roll, 1 for channel rack, and 1 for the main program. Overkill? Yes.)

60hz without gsynch or freesynch is absolutely fine for gaming. most games arent going to be running at much more than 60 frames anyways on that monitor

The problem with 32:9 is they are so wide you are forced to place the (audio) monitors far apart. You'd then have to sit way back to keep a equilateral triangle listening position. By then, you are too far from the (visual) monitor and the fonts will be too damn small to read.
