The Sims 3 Generations vs The Sims 4 Parenthood //Which is better?

The Sims 4 has been around for a while now, some would say it has overstayed it’s welcome!
I’ve been seeing a few posts lately form simmers who are missing some of the best bit we got in the sims 3 and I’ve heard that the word on the street is that the sims 3 is better than the sims 4. Well I’ve decided to take matters into my own hands and find out which game is better in a new comparison series where I’ll be looking at the top features of the sims 3 and sims 4 games and expansion packs to conclude which sims game is best.
This is the second video in this series and this time we are comparing the sims 3 generations with the sims 4 parenthood.
The sims 3 generations brings a lot to the game and is still to this day one of the most well-loved expansion packs brought out for the Sims 3, but can it be topped by the sims 4 parenthood? Let’s find out!

Generations is, for me, the best pack EVER MADE to the WHOLE SIMS FRANCHISE... if you are a person that likes family gameplay... you might agree with me

I think it's important to note that to get generations in ts4 currently we need parenthood, high school years, kids room stuff, toddler stuff, my wedding disaster, and it's still incomplete after all that

It's a little bit unfair to compare one of the biggest EPs ever made to a Game Pack which costs half as much, BUT if we analyze how successful each pack is at achieving its goal, The Sims 3 Generations still wins. The problem with Parenthood is that ultimately nothing you do really matters. You might've spent a lot of time teaching one of your kids manners, but all you get is a reward trait, and traits do practically nothing in The Sims 4. I do enjoy some of the activities Parenthood added, but it was a very mediocre pack overall. Generations, on the other hand, achieved its goal of fleshing out each generation and even added some extra things such as a new active career and a revamped memory system.

Dunno about anybody else, but, erm...
...Well... (in real life) Shagging in the shower I found to be rather awkward, and most definitely with lots of potential for injury from slipping over in there! 🤔😬😵
My girl and I much preferred doing it in a bath instead of the shower. Best in a big hotel bath suite too! And doing it in the sea was an experience, that's for sure!
Though I am aware that shagging in water is apparently not a great idea, and can supposedly irritate yet bits down there!? 🤔😬🤷🏻‍♂️

I definitely agree. Sims 4 is missing so much. It feels as if it was half thought out and halfheartedly put together.

I'm honestly surprised EA never tried to bring more of Generations back to the Sims 4. Parenthood is alright but the treehouse and imaginary friend teddy bear would be so much more fun.

I was born in the year sims 3 came out, so I’ve only ever played the sims 4. but now that I watch videos comparing them, i REALLY wanna play the sims 2 and 3z
