My 3 year olds tv was constantly turning on by itself. No settings I changed in the stock menus stopped it and got to the point it would just reboot. Followed these instructions, did a factory reset and all is well again. Thank you so much, I was about to go buy him a new tv.

thank you! my tv wouldn't power on. all i did was the mute 182 power and it flashed and turned on. i feel like this is a warrantee scam on their part. so frustrating. but Im glad you are here to help and im so greatful!

Perfect !!! My Samsung LCD was not turning ON. all i did was unplug the cable from the power point and plugged back after 60 seconds and i was able to turn ON. please note you have to unplug the cable and not just turn off the power switch.

awesome works great friend. What about reading usb flash drives. Worked great when I had bought the tv a year ago. Now tv reads the usb flash drive one time out of three. I saw on forums many many people have this problem. Any advice

Thanks for making this video. Worked for me. My menu was a little different but I clicked the return button then saw the reset option. Reset then tv powered off. I powered on and then was able to see my wireless router and put in the password. Worked great.
