The humming sound towards the end is the electric hydraulic pump and is usually used when the aircraft is taxying using only one engine for fuel conservation. You can faintly hear one engine be shut down at 22:02. You also hear the pump when baggage doors are being opened etc. :)

my transit stops when I travel in the U.S. is always the busiest hubs, DFW, O'Hare & Atlanta where time is at an essence when your connecting time is very tight. You may have time to catch that flights, but sometimes your check in luggage won't.

I love SAS. On May 12, we’ll be flying on SAS from Newark to Stockholm via Copenhagen. Very excited!! What airline did you fly on to Singapore?
A word of advice to my fellow avgeeks. If you’re flying from the US to Europe, do not drink coffee. You will not be able to sleep. Drink tea, if possible.

Always great trip report. Watched and didn't skip the ads =D Can't wait to watch the Part 3's trip report, from Stockholm to Singapore. I wonder is SAS considered as a budget/low cost carrier or premium airline? I notice most airlines in European country don't serve complimentary snack and drinks onboard. Only applicable if it's a long-haul flight.
