SAS Scandinavian Airlines A350 Business Class - Chicago to Copenhagen

SAS recently acquired the first of many Airbus A350-900 aircraft and seeing the opportunity, I jumped on for an Atlantic crossing in business class from Chicago O'hare to Copenhagen. It was a pleasantly surprising experience both in the seat and the service, with a well-designed seat/bed combo, and fun crew.

As a nurse for almost 40 years, I want to let you know that you will be a breath of fresh air to the nurses especially if you keep up your humor when speaking to them. The SAS flight attendants are very polite and welcoming. If I have the chance to fly with them, I would just because of how nice and friendly the flight attendants are.

The International Terminal used to be where T1 used to be. When it was decided to create a new international terminal, UA took over T1 and the International Terminal 4 moved to the lower level of the parking structure behind the O’Hare Hilton. When T5 was built, they closed T4 and that is why it’s the way it is now.

It’s now grounded, and SAS announced this afternoon that they’re sending 10, 000 employees on indefinite unpaid leave (that’s 90% of their staff) with immediate effect, and slashing their routes to a bare minimum. People are staying at home because of the virus and SAS have been hit hard, sadly😳👎🏻✈️
