I wish people would stop using ’over 40’, as a reference to kind of being over it or lost etc. I’m 45 but look and feel way better than ever, and I’m more inventive and having more fun with fashion than ever before, especially now that I’m not caring for little children anymore, and my self confidence has skyrocketed with age! I feel invigorated and lively - I would like just fashion inspiration, not fashion inspiration for over 40’s!! I’m 45 years young!!! Please stop boxing people in!!!

My go-to for cold seasons: a short skirt, tights and thigh-highs boots, silk shirt and wool blazer (or a midi skirt and knee-high boots, both are good). Or a knit dress with similar jacket and accessories. Or slip skirt and short sweater with silk scarf and boots. Gosh, there are so many more outfit formulas I love and feel great in. (I’m not a big jeans/trousers fan, they’re not comfy on me). It doesn’t usually get very cold where I live, but I add a long, wool overcoat if it does. Age 64, San Francisco. ❤Your channel.

Please show ideas for our summer weather in the Midwest-next week, for example, it will be in the 90's here. And very humid. We can't wear a blazer, or a sweater or anything but short sleeve blouses, flats usually or sneakers, cool fabrics in dresses or linen wide leg pants. The first dress is way too baggy. Just ask yourself if a younger women would wear it and the answer is NO. I haven't seen anyone wearing such a dress with so much fabric, it makes the wearer look like she's trying to hide a big belly or pregnancy, no, no, no, truly awful.
