Our bathroom is straight outta the 90s and needed some TLC. The first step was to transform the boring floor tile with some paint. Here's my step-by-step tutorial for this fun DIY project.

For all of the supplies in this project, be sure to head to the blog post.

Wow!! What a big difference. Your floor looks beautiful! You just motivated me to paint my outdated floor tiles in my master bathroom. Thank you!

Omg. I didn't realize they had those and better colors. I love the charcoal gray just as it is. Woo hoo.

It looks great.!!!!...and the idea that you can change it again when farmhouse industrial look is over with is a plus...personally I would have painted the vanity white and the pink corian top painted dark gray with black hardware and put a runner rug down with that same bold tile look pattern on it. ( It's just another way to decorate) and easier to change later when you move . But still a great video, looks good!!!

Amazing job and great description of what you did. How would you rate the product now, 2 years later. How did it hold up? How much touch up have you had to do over the years?

Has anyone noticed a minute or two after the paint goes down, some (teensy tiny) spots don't take? I did use a steam cleaner on the grout a couple weeks ago, then yesterday I sprayed tile and grout with crud cutter, then wiped up with a micro fiber rag. After that I steam mopped in hopes to get all the crud cutter up. Now wondering if I didn't get it all up!? :( It is only a few spots, wish I could upload a photo.

Has painting the tile made it more/less slippery when wet? I'm worried about it possibly being too slick.

Ok ma'am. One more question and I will leave you alone. At Home Depot it is about $49 for 1 gallon of the charcoal gray. And it is about $30 or so for the topcoat and Matte..Does that sound about right? Since I only need a quart of each this is really starting to ramp up. I was just curious on the sizing that you got what works best for you. Thanks

How would this do if I’m wanting to paint the black tiles on a checkered tile. Meaning, only paint the black tiles and leave the white tiles.

Is the 1/4 inch roller for the top coat foam?
