Great tutorial. I used it to paint a "marble" tombstone for a Frankenstein model. Don't laugh - it worked great. The only change I made was to start with a light Grey color first, and then apply White with a sponge over the Grey.

Wow, thank you! I'm going to have decorative screens inside my cabinets for air circulation (Hawaii), and they are black metal cross-hatched. I wanted to add marble-like veins of gold on the black screens just because and was looking for a video specifically on how to do veining with a feather. I found the master! Great, great video.

Ufff, not only is the work you did absolutely stunning, but so are you! Love this though, very interesting, i'm thinking of applying a thin (elastic) waterproofing layer on my bathroom floor especially to fill the 'grout lines', and thinking i'm going to copy your fantastic faux marble tile example and make essentially a floor like it's a 'one slab' - perhaps i'll even add a very thin layer of epoxy resin when it's done to make it glossy.

I really like this technique the only thing I would maybe do differently is using a grout paint instead of just a floor paint for the actual grout lines
