When painting tile the glaze should be fully removed/sanded or scuffed, then 2 coats of moisture resistant primer and the top color coat should be an epoxy product as it offers both, a high degree of moisture resistance and a strong, almost chip proof finish.

Thank you so much for his video. I'm working on a project for the 2nd bathroom and have wanted to paint the bathroom tile so bad. You have inspired me to do so!!! :)

This is so cool! This was exactly the video I needed to do my own bathroom. Been looking for videos that have a similar tile like mine, as well as being in the tub itself. Thank you for doing this!

Well how did it all turn out to this day? Did the paint bubble up? We would have liked to see an update on this

How has the oil-based enamel paint held up since the install? I know there are a lot of other more expensive paint dedicated specifically to bathroom tile out there. If you could do it again, would you use the same enamel or chosen something else?

I'm preparing to try this myself! A couple of questions...1) I'm doing this in a one bathroom house so it will get a LOT of use. Do you feel that using some sort of sealant would protect the finish more? 2) I'm considering using a stencil on the shower tiles as well, would you use an oil based enamel for that 2nd color paint as well?

any chance you can do a quick follow up vid to see how the white paint held up. About to do the same process so would love to see how it ended up!!!! Thanks

Hi all! I posted pics of the tile after 11 months in the “community” tab on my profile! No peeling 👏🏻

Hi Amber, just wanted to check in if its still holding up well or how long did it last if not? Wanting to experiment but not sure if its going to hold up well. Thanks a lot

Can you get into detail about the sanding stage? Like the grout of sandpaper. Also would the Semi gloss be good as well?

Awesome! I desperately need to paint my peachy colored shower tile ;-). My main concern is how it's held up over time as I'm not sure how this paint holds up with humidity, have you had any peeling, blistering or cracks? Also, did you feel there would be any benefit in sanding the tile before priming it? Thanks so much for this video!!

Do you recommend sanding the tiles before adding primer?
