A "bite sized" explanation of a principle that I’ve developed around Lean Implementation called Engage Everyone.
In implementing a Lean program, we have the greatest opportunity at the start, to engage everyone.
Engagement is the level of connection your team has with the Program.
I’ll share 3 keys to help you Engage Everyone: 1) Create a clear vision, a well thought-through strategy and a transparent implementation plan, 2) Ensure clear & simple communication, ensuring everyone knows what’s involved and the expected benefits, 3) Create the right environment, collaborate, respect others, recognise their valued contribution.
This principle has helped me create highly effective Lean Programs from a zero start.
I’m sure you’ll find this demonstration very helpful.

Hey Mr. Deane, loved your fishbone diagram tutorial just used one to point out holes in our production process. Are you aware of any industries or career paths that bring folks in as a sort of apprentice in continual improvement?
