How to make Rice Paper Sails | Cake Decorating Tutorial

In this cake decorating tutorial, I show you how I made these rice paper sails! These will be used to decorate a cake I will be uploading very soon:) Stay tuned for that! These are actually very easy to make with just a few supplies. You can make them in any color you would like to suit your cake design. Sorry but I do have quite a dumb question. Does the rice paper soften upon prolong contact on buttercream? If so, how much time does it take for the rice paper to succumb to the moisture?

I tried this technique of yours.. but my rice papers just stuck so badly with the wax papers.. they just didn't come off.😫😫
Please can u guide where I might have gone wrong..🙏
