I am a watchmaker at a 105 year old jewelry store in Michigan. It is a dying profession, and I wish more young people would join it because it is a lot of fun! I think a watchmaking video game would be very interesting, especially in VR if possible. Or a clockmaking video game which is less fiddly even. If there is one out there, I haven't found it. Even I would play it!

I've been seeing a lot of games lately revolving around story telling and processing of something (simulator games). Just like the games about pc building, where it's informative and educational which is like an idea that comes from what you can see in your room alone.

Honestly I think regardless of what field you're in, coming up with original ideas is the hardest thing. Inevitably, some element of your idea will have already done, but there will always be some way for you to put your own spin on that. And that goes for creative things like game design, all the way to other fields like science and designing a research project.

I got you an idea for a videogame

Robot Dancer: In this game, players must program robots to dance in sync with the music. Players take on the role of a robotic dance instructor, teaching a group of robots different dance moves and choreography. The game could also have a multiplayer mode, where players can compete against each other to see whose robots can dance the best.
