That's literally relaxing thing to do in the neighborhood.

You can use the end of the rake handle to push the debris through the holes in the grate. That way it won't clog so much in the future.

Sometimes pulling up Google maps and using Satellite and Street-view to locate storm drain covers can be quite handy.
