Frozen pizza < Pizza from some chain < fresh pizza from a grocery-store < make my own pizza < pizza from a local pizzeria near me, run by two Italian brothers that make every pizza with fresh ingredients in their open kitchen, so you can see it while you're waiting.

One time i made a complaint that the last time the 'hot & spicy' wasn't that hot & spicy while ordering a new one... so.... that time it WAS really hot & spicy! 😅🤣

i really like new york pizza but i do work there and since our nyp(in Best) was opened we were 1st or 2nd rated every year

especially for buncharted they just added a stroopwafel bread 😉

5 cheese pizza is definitely my favorite from Newyork Pizza, though I also like their buffalo chicken, garlic chicken and spinach and the downtown döner pizza.

Anyway, since you asked for a Dutch chain to try food from and my suggestion is Kwalitaria. It's a Dutch snackbar chain that has prides it self on high quality snacks and burgers.

In the Netherlands New York Pizza (& Dominos & Pappa johns) are just places where teens go to work when they dont wanna work, because its extremely low effort, like McDonalds or KFC or something, expect forgotten ingredients etc. You're much better off just going to a local non-branded pizzaria, most of them deliver, the ones that dont deliver mostly still let you take out, the ones that don't do either are the best, but probably also have much better Italian food than just a pizza.

New York Pizza is my favorite dutch pizza chain. I love the East Side Shoarma + Black Truffle double tasty combo.

Like Domino's here in NL, with NYP it's always a bit hit and miss. It really depends on the franchise, the people that day and how busy it was when they made your order.

Dutch chains which I'd like you guys to rate are Fat Phills, Shabu to Go and Verhage

I buy mexican habanero hot sauce imports (same brand they typically have in the US) to fix the spice cravings. Dutch spiciness is on the same level as 'mid west' spiciness in the US. Probably not a coincidence, since there's a lot of Germans (same story) and Dutch people that settled over there.

Since I have an Italian pizza oven(Effeuno), I make fresh pizza so I never order again.
I use Italian tomatoes, Fiore de latte, Caputo flour, fresh basil...so so good every single time. 🍕🤌🤤

If you really want your pizza to be spicy, sprinkle a few drops of this super spicy chiliolie over it. But it can be used on many other dishes.

Fun fact Hawaiian pizza is originally from Canada. Invented in Chatham Ontario in 1962. A short drive from where I live
Actually pizza restaurants in Buffalo NY make fantastic wings. About the only time you can get excellent wings from a pizza restaurant

My favorite new york pizza items are the chocolate mousse and the garlic bread. My branch puts so much cheese and fresh garlic on there it's insane, in a good way

personal tip: with the 4 cheeses pizza, CHANGE THE BOTTOM TO TOMATO SAUCE!! the acidity balances the fatty cheese much better than creme fraiche..

The teriyaki chicken is our favorite one!!! But I skip the broccoli because I don't think that's something that belongs on a pizza. Always on a thick NY style crust and I really like the kick to the sauce🥰
