The EASIEST Way to Install Arch Linux (archinstall)

In this video, I introduce you to the "archinstall" command, which is a command in the Arch Linux ISO that provides a guided installer for Arch Linux.

Disclaimer: If you select a drive in archinstall, and elect to wipe it, all data on that drive WILL BE LOST! In addition, if you elect to partition manually, while it is rare, there is a chance that partitioning may cause data loss. For this reason, I suggest you back up your data before installing Arch Linux on any production machine. I WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS THAT MAY OCCUR FROM FOLLOWING THIS TUTORIAL!

Prerequisites:
1. A computer (obviously)
2. An external drive (at least 1 GB in size); if you are going to be installing Arch Linux on a physical machine
3. An internet connection (preferably wired)

you didnt show pacman-key --init and populate cmd befor archinstall cmd because i didnt use kye init so it stop installing pkg due to no gpg keys

excellent video! I was not aware of the archinstall command. I am currently running Arch. I was able to install it using a video I found from 2 years ago that still works. Took me a lot longer than what you did but at least I got it up and running. If I ever need to install Arch again I will try it your way. Thanks for the video!!

Been distro hopping on my linux laptop, I installed endeavourOS and removed all the theming they did on i3 and themed it myself but I still hopped, I think just doing arch myself might be the best solution

How can you enable Wi-Fi and Bluetooth? Since it doesn’t install it. Even though you chose to install network thingy for desktop.

I have dell latitude D520 . It's old and I have one option is to install arch Linux 32 bit . The archinstall script doesn't work in2024 and I even downloaded old arch Linux iso of 2023 . It still doesn't work . Update the script or the system or refreshing the keyring .. these suggestions I found one the internet all didn't solve the problems
