Great video! Does it have to be the blue tape? Also, I only have a sharpie with a thick point end. Can I use a pencil instead?

I am trying to reinstall the same bar handles. The company that sold me the house put screws in that are too long so the “housing—the two legs attached to the handle”from the handle separated and you can’t get the screws out so you can install new handles correctly. Any quick fix?

How do you know how deep to drill? What drill bit size did you use for the holes?

Installing cabinet hardware is not an emergency. Even if your wife says it is. Just buy a $20 jig. Even with a speed square, a level and drilling slightly larger holes to make adjustments it's too time consuming and level of precious too high. Even if you measure perfectly your drill holes can not be off in any direction. Consider your cabinet s might not be level horizontally and vertically. Same with the doors. Especially for a vertical

I was gonna say…;-p, a few of em looked crooked! The jig is the secret, but use a square versus the tape when possible and never ever drill a door that is closed!!!!

Nice job but your door pull is crooked, why not make or use a template? Much, much faster and more accurate.

Fail to see why people are suggesting a level for a handle. It'd be crooked to the cabinet using a level, unless the cabinet is fine in which case a level isn't needed.
