Thanks Sean, cool video. That guitar sure is good looking, they didn’t even have a choice but to make it a Sean Daniel signature model. Useful guitar lesson as usual 😊.

This 90s Bulls reference edition was great! Kept waiting for a triangle offense mention to give some love to Phil Jackson, but it's all good haha

Great lesson, Thanks I've been using some of those shapes, but not all of them. The Bm shape sounds wonderful, and will be very useful. Oh, Those Bulls teams are the best ever. We, my son and I, spent many hours watching history being made!

sean love this lesson am asking if you can do another lesson on picking the chords with a plucktrum like specfically directing us on how to pluck the bass note and which strings to pick out when playing a chord in a given progression thanks will appreciate your feedback

I love the D with F# bass so much. Such a great pivot. It does interesting things to every song I write. And I have no idea how it works! (been playing 35 years and don't know nuthin lol) Have you done a video about how that works musically, or how it transposes to other keys? Does it have a name? Something simple, I'm sure. Not sure I'm making any sense. Great video btw!

Many people who don't know theory don't want to know it. Meanwhile, people who know theory are glad they know it.

Thanks, Sean. Good stuff! Very useful! Cool hoodie!!! That signature model Martin sounds great, but... who the heck is SD? 🤣🥰

Ha ha Sean, good guitar info and funny integrating it into the best ballers of the past (from Chicago at least).

G Am F C 4 chord progression is fun ... tons of open string variations using pulloffs and hammerons ... use 2 string slash style chords and keep the little finger ready ... throw in a Em on the way back or go funky with a Bm - 😁and #23 is the G.O.A.T. - not the laker wannabee #23 😂

Great video. Is it possible to do something similar for E, A, B?

I don’t wanna think about not having to think about it.

You sure love your Bulls! I had one of 6th graders here in Malta for our Secret Santa and got him a Bulls t-shirt. He loves it and basketball... even though he's from Ukraine.

Sean, does this mean some of these chord shapes are not rooted on the first string struck, but played along with the 5ths? Just a bit puzzled by the D rooted under the 5th :) = inversion? Forgive me as I'm learning lol

Not a football fan, so sports analogies are lost on me 😢
I did try to follow along, but it would have been easier IF your guitar had visible dots on the fretboard. I mean, your hand knows where it’s going, but my eye has to follow your hand and then make my hand go there. I did get the fundamental concept; play these 3 chords up there. Thanks
