E hoki ki ō Maunga Part 2

Ngā Taiohi o Te Rangitaupi Incorporated are a Marae/Pā based organisation from Tauwhare Pā, Te Iti o Hauā Marae - running whānau-focused events to connect whānau and tamariki to Tūpuna Maunga in the Waikato rohe.

Ngā Taiohi o Te Rangitaupi was a successful recipient of funding for He Puna Korikori in 2022.

Throughout the course of E hoki ki ō Maunga, Ngā Taiohi o Te Rangitaupi Incorporated took tamariki and whānau on monthly treks to tūpuna maunga, working up to a final Maunga Te Ara o Te Waharoa, which was Wairere falls.

With the help of a story producer, rangatahi (aged 13-18) who may not have engaged in the initiative, were given GoPros and worked with the producer, learning how to use the technology and how to capture the story of this work over the course of the initiative too.
