I just watched the Black Ferns 7’s win the 2025 World Championship in LA and as the whistle blew the stadium was filled with Poi E. All these years later this has almost become an anthem of Aotearoa. Watching from Canada I was nothing but proud ! 🖤🖤🖤

I used to listen to this song while I lived in the South pacific as a teenager from the US and while in the car with my Mother. I heard it just now again the first time since then. It brought good memories but with tears. RIP my beautiful, dear Mom. I miss you so much.
