An unsettling fog has settled over Muncie. People are vanishing. The wildlife is becoming dangerous. After the disappearance of his household pets, Jon is shocked when his cat returns a horrible disfigured monster. Together, they vow to get to the bottom of the strange occurrences. However, Jon must go to extreme measures to keep the murderous instincts of his feline companion in check...

Don’t pick the old car battery, it’s useless until level 6 and isn’t even that good unless you spent all your points in INT.
So pick the birds nest, the thing inside grows into a great Phoenix in 3 in game days, and will help you save Odie.

For those who haven’t played “The dark fields of Gorefield” your gonna want to pick this birds nest as soon in the game as you can. The bird inside is a mutated pigeon that, after 3 more night encounters with gorefield, can be harvested for 30 pounds of meat. Helped me out a lot in the end game.

Here’s some stuff to imagine would occur if this were a real game

Plot
Jon is a detective who is assisted (vaguely) by Garfield’s ghost who possessed a pile of meat, which gets bigger and resembles his body overtime as Jon brings him more meat.

Garfield doesn’t give any form of help unless he is given the amount of meat he demands, but will be more helpful than usual if given more meat than necessary. If Jon dies, he is revived with the spare meat from Garfield’s body as a sort of replacement for any lost flesh upon death. Garfield expects double the meat he last demanded every time Jon is revived, and a day is lost. If Garfield is down to his last possible size (called “pile of meat”) and Jon dies again, Garfield will give the last of him up to revive Jon, but he considers Jon’s inability to use Garfield’s help ever again as the ultimate payment for his constant screw ups.
