Took Naoto to the final boss fight, she was doing so little damage that I ended up using her just to spam all the items I had been saving up all game, smh

While I do mostly agree, I personally think Chie and Kanji should be swapped. Both of them are physical powerhouses, and Kanji is simply much better suited towards it. He has way more strength, and way more endurance. Equaling to more damage, and more health, which is always useful for living attacks and as a resource for physical attacks. Also, according to the megamitensei wiki, Kanji's primal force has a bit over 30% more damage than Chie's god's hand, and a bit more minorly, a 10% higher crit chance. They also both learn mind charge, notably Kanji I think being able to learn it much faster as it's his rank 6 confidant, over Chie's learning at level 52. Kanji also gets regenerate 3 from rank 8 confidant, and fast heal from rank 4 biking, which is much more consistent and better than Chie's high counter. The only real thing I feel Chie is better at, is aoe. For some reason Kanji's only physical aoe is a medium power to all 1x to 2x times. Which very quickly gets outclassed by Chie. Gale slash at 29 is comparable in power, and heat wave at 46 is way better. And dear god don't even try to compare it to her end game aoe of agneyastra. His magic is also way to low to consider his aoe electric to be a good reliable aoe damage source. Despite this though, I still believe he is better as you still can have 3 other party members be good with aoe situations. I'd say bosses are the main attraction and difficulty of the game, and bosses are where he really shines with his stats and moves.

Despite all of this though, I think we can all agree the true answer is to bring them both.

Yosuke's pretty bad in the early game, but I got a lot of use out of him as he leveled up. Especially with skills such as Garudyne, Magarudyne, Brave Blade and Masukukaja.

yeah cant really argue much with this list. only reason why i used yosuke like ever is because i was hesitant as fuck in using phys skills cause of the hp cost. p4 also was my first persona / smt game so that added to it.
worth mentioning tho. thanks to 3rd semester and bike skills yukiko can literally MATCH THE PROTAG in damage cause burning petals is severe, and the bike gives her mind charge.

teddie should be A tier and not B tier

Naoto is S tier SOLELY due to learning Megidolaon and Concentrate, and being the only other member who can take out treasure hands. Being able to consistently grind levels makes her high tier for me.

Kamui miracle can be pretty good, it helped me a lot on the Marie fight

I had Yukiko, Chie, and Kanji. I just liked them. I wanted Naoto but she was way too under leveled by the time I got to the Hidden Forest.

teddie chie yukiko and kanji is the best teamates easily but i rather have chie yukiko and kanji since kanji can cast matarukaja and yukiko can heal and i can just fill in the role of teddie anyways

Naoto is the noob party member. Almighty damage, instakills, and enough stats to oneshot most normal enemies. Struggles with bosses, but for everything else it is a low-effort member.

I'd bump her up to low B tier.
