The darkness was a big part of the ambience before. More light and warmer tones, not to mention a new score, might really alter the vibes. I'll play it again regardless, but I hope the sense of cold doom remains.

I can't believe the original game is almost 10 years old. I was 25 when it came out in 2015, but it almost feels like yesterday. Comparingly, games that came out in 2005 when I was 15 feels like ages go. It's bittersweet how time seems to speed up significantly once you hit your mid 20's.

One of my favorite PlayStation titles of All Time!
The original, graphically speaking, is still beautiful to look at today, but I have to say that this re-release does nothing but accentuate its beauty, enhancing it even further 🖤.

I overall still prefer the vibes in the original which is kinda off with the warmer lighting in the remastered version. Not to mention Mike running versus walking at 1:15 kinda ruins the mood for me, and some other scenes were shot differently when they didn't have to be changed imo. I like the new version for the updated graphics but yeah I overall prefer the original to play in my spare time.
