Pushkin used to visit New Jersey. Many Russians like to settle in NJ because it reminds them of home. My grandfather used to say that western Pennsylvania was just like Croatia.

Just discovered your videos. They are very helpful:) right now I speak Japanese, and English and I and curently learning russian. I have a friend who is doing the same and when we go out in public 1 of us will be speaking Japanese and the other with be speaking russian. We enjoy the looks we get sometimes when people realiz we are speaking two diffrent langues. LoL I will refer your videos to all my friends :)

I love the video at the end. Just was wondering whether the song was written by a Russian composer or is it a Schubert Lieder that was transcribed into Russian? Amazing job of sound engineering on a vintage recital piece. Late 50's, early 60's? I loved the tenor!
