196 is the only number with a 1 a 9 and a 6, in that order, and without any other numbers

I love how there are serious comments from years ago mixed with r/196 shitpost comments

Either all of 196, 295, 394, 493, 592, 691 and 790 are Lychrel numbers, or none of them are. This is because all iterations after the first one are the same. (Note how the middle digit, as well as the sum of the first and last digit, is the same in all these cases.)

I noticed, that the Lychrell numbers you listed as possible are also palindromes in some pairs, 196, 691; 295, 592; 394, 493; etc.

Also, they all have an even at one end and an odd at the other, with 9 in the middle.

Yay! Dr. Grime's notes finally get some camera time! I'm always curious about what he has worked out and has at hand before you begin filming. I like seeing little details like that.
