Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra - Wait, They're Doing WHAT?

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra will be the second Z Fold 6 foldable smartphone from Samsung and we've got some big updates about the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra and let me tell you, things just got a whole lot more interesting and confusing. We know Samsung is working on an 'Ultra' version of the Z Fold 6 called the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra but until now, we didn’t have much info about it. That changes today, thanks to Ross Young and GalaxyClub, two of the biggest names in smartphone tech. They've revealed some exciting details about the Z Fold 6 Ultra.

Honestly, the pen on the phone is the reason I got into the Samsung ecosystem, moving to any phone with no pen is a downgrade for me

I hope this is a direct competitor to the Find N3 and Vivo X Fold. They keep saying its going to be only in South Korea, but I hope that's wrong. Never cared about S Pen support on the Fold and when I went back to the Ultra, I only used it to tap areas on the phone that didn't respond to my finger tip input. If this "Slim" is the Ultra variant or its own line here's my dream feature list:

- 50MP front self camera
- S24U or all new rear camera array
- 5000 MAH battery
- 45W or 65W charging
- 6.5" wide front display
- 8.2" inner display
- SD 8 Gen 4 chipset
- AMD overclocked chip for gaming.
- 16GB RAM
- 512GB/1TB Storage

Never understood the need for the underdisplay camera for the inner screen, but a return to the punch hole to the furthest corner of the inner display would be fine. Using it on a regular basis you forget its there most of the time.

Not having an S pen slot again is ok.
But removing the S pen support feature on top of that makes it a downgrade

Call it the "Slim" and it makes perfectly sense, so not sure why continuing on the "Ultra" name scheme, no chance this goes live as an ultra device.

I don't think anyone knows what's coming.. and I don't think Samsung would shoot themselves in the foot with the s pen

On the plus side, they've made it a lot easier to be happy with my fold 4 as they haven't come released anything that would actually be an upgrade

This is so messed up first of all there are 2 devices and 2nd device is gonna launch after 5-6 months and the 2nd device which is said to be better doesn't have s pen functionality.

Samsung as always, disappointing with their decisions. A Fold 6 Ultra without an S pen is not an Ultra device at all.

I like s-pen support, but ill sacrifice it! If it has a bigger display and better cameras? I'm down with that. Those are more important to me especially because I need the best cameras for my tattoos. I was ready to switch to the s24ultra SIMPLY BECAUSE of the cameras!! So I'm down

As far as foldables, I think Samsung should study One Plus, Vivo fold 3 pro, Honor Magic V2 RSR Porsche edition, and Huawei mate 5 for the z fold 6 and 7. They have basically done all the hardware homework and all Samsung has do is study that because their software is awesome. The honor magic v2 Porsche edition has stylus in the box is slim light and the stylus works on both screens
