So all this while we were all told that the special edition of the Galaxy Fold formerly known as the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra didn’t really deserve the "Ultra" name, despite having almost the same hardware as the S24 Ultra. The reason? It supposedly didn’t support the S Pen because Samsung removed the S Pen digitizer to keep the phone slim. But what if I told you that might not be true after all? What if this Z Fold Special Edition actually does deserve the Ultra title? Well, it seems that’s exactly the case.

Translation: This is what the fold 6 or a generation or two ago should've been, but we just couldn't resist nerfing the fold 6 to segment and upsell the fold 6 ultra.

The one wrong move for Samsung to do is to remove the Spen digitizer from the normal Fold. They should keep the fold as it is and make the Ultra more special and fully fledged

This was meant to be the zfold 6.. I really hope that they reduce the z fold 7 price and make the z fold 7 ultra price the same as the regular z fold 6... because asking for anything more than that is unrealistic and insane - Laptop territory

For an Ultra version that features a much wider and larger external display, along with an S-Series Ultra camera setup, I would definitely be keen to consider it. I skipped this year's Fold because of the external screen size, and I'm really hoping it will be improved with the Fold 7 lineup, even if it has to be introduced as an Ultra variant — which I would then choose.

If they make $2k a standard for folds, it better be able to dual -boot an OS like Windows or Linux. Paying a computer price for a phone is ridiculous

The thing I like the best about the z-fold is it's narrower when folded and so I can easily hold it in one hand with no worries about dropping it. My S24 pro is a little big to feel super secure when you're trying to type one handed on it. A foldable in that size would be really unwieldy.

I have the 5 and would buy the 6 Ultra or the 7 Ultra. The outer screen size isn't that big of a deal for me, but the camera improvements, bigger battery, and S Pen support make it an easy decision

One drawback type c wired headphones have been a little tricky to find. Wireless are the trend but drain battery and open get lost. IPhone still offers Wireless wired headphones. I hope they don't become a lost technology.

All honesty I'm still in love with my fold 4 and don't see the need to upgrade, nothing is making me feel like I "need" that upgrade. Still wouldn't say no if I was offered one though 😂😂😂
