Close the trade and fence the border...full support if India close the borders

85% of Bangladeshi exports rely on Indian ports because their own ports are already out of their capacity, slow & inefficient, delays increase container holding costs. That's why it is three times cheaper to use the Indian ports and the only option they have is either the Pakistani or Sri-Lankan ports but that would increase shipping time and also costs them more which would make their goods globally incompetitive. It's a huge blowback to their economy.

it’s very good for Bangladesh it help to stop going dollar in India due to port cost of india. Now Bangladesh open two new cargo airport for export. Thank you india it help Bangladesh to move more self dependent in our own infrastructure.

If being landlocked is the logic for questioning someone’s sovereignty, then by that flawed reasoning, Bangladesh—being more landlocked than India—should merge with India. But we all know geography doesn’t define nationhood. Our Northeast is an inseparable part of India, and no amount of provocative or misguided commentary can change that truth.

In fact, if Bangladesh truly seeks broader access—not just to the Bay of Bengal but to the Indian Ocean and the Arabian Sea—then the path leads through deeper cooperation with India. That’s the bigger picture. We’re not the ones needing lectures on unity or freedom—we are the ones who made both possible for others.

This is just media hype to show how powerful India is.
But the Govr failed to control violence in Murshidabad by Bamgladesh supporting Bengali muslims.

Should Bangladesh also pull out the plug of India, transition to seven sisters?

It’s easy to distance, separate and isolate or decouple, but repair them take a long time; never lose your nerve, temper and patience as decision makers. It always costs and hardly pays.

doesn't make any difference to Bangladesh. Bangladesh have other route plans.

BD uses 0.25% exports through Indian channel. It was a gift from Hasina to India to boost the economy of Koltata.

Well every decision against Bangladesh costs India now, particularly West Bengal - kolkata, be it Onion, Hospital, Tourism, Cotton etc. 😊Every BJP decision only costs general people of west Bengals livelihood.
