What is special about the potting soil? Is there a certain type needed or something added for root growth? You make ot look very simple, much appreciated.

So how long do they start to grow??? And do you need to place them in shaded area? Would putting the cutting right where the soil is from where it’s growing work as well. ?

gosh this must be one of the few videos that actually show me how to take a cutting when there are leaves on either side of the node! Will this work for a common jasmine vine too? It's spring here in sunny south africa, it this a good time to take it?

Hello, just watched your video which makes taking clematis cuttings really easy. It's July in the UK right now, is it the right time to take cuttings? Also, I've read on another reply that approx 4 weeks is how long to keep the bag on. How often should you water the cuttings and when would they by ready to plant out? I would be keeping these in my greenhouse whilst rooting. Many thanks for the straightforward video.

I just stick them in a pot, water frequently and they find the plastic bag causes mold :(
