As a non Kurdish Iranian I am proud that Kurds are an Iranic people. Strong beautiful people with a deep ancient culture. I always say Iran is like walking in to a garden with 100 different flowers and scents, as opposed to walking in to a garden with 100 identical flowers. Some people in this world prefer the latter, they want their country to be like robots, all the same, looking the same, talking the same, same religion, etc, I personally prefer the former, I think diversity is great and make life more interesting. I myself am mixed 3/4 Bakhtiari Persian and 1/4 Kashkai Turk. Long live all Iranic people around the world, whether you are Kurd, Tajik, Pashtun, Baloch, Persian, Talysh, Aghan, Lur, Ossetian, etc, it doesn't matter, we are all one

Hurrians are the Kurds and Hrvates (Croatians) ancestors. Before Slavic people occupied Balkan Hrvates Hurrians migrated to Balkan from Anatolia. Sick but true Hurrians are Kurds and Croatians ancestor

To make things SHORT for you: kurds are Medes mixed with Hurrians! The former assimilated the latter. kurdish culture and language is Median where kurdish DNA has a significant Hurrian ancestry. E.g. I have Indo-Iranian Central Asian Y-Chromosome from Medes yet my main genetic composition is native of kurdistan which means Hurrian.

Kurds are most closely related to other Iranian peoples and to Azeris. However, they mixed a little with the Armenians and Assyrians living on the lands they migrated to, so they are shifted “west” compared to other Iranian peoples.

The Kurds are a genetically complex mixture. They consist of several main parts. The first group consists of the Semitic nations that have always lived in the Zagros Mountains, such as the Lolos and the Khorians, who belong to the J2 gene. The second group includes the tribes that came to Kurdistan with the migration of the Medes and Persians from Central Asia. They belong to the R1b and R1a genes and i There are also Assyrians and Armenians who carry both T and L genes. In addition, the Arabs who came to the region with the advent of Islam and settled there and became Kurds carry the J1 and E genes.

this is wrong.
absolutely wrong.
1. We are older than "Medes" or "Hurrian" - which are both Kurdish language isolates.
2. Kurdish people are autochtonous Indo-European West Asian people (Near East) and have like European, majority autochtonous Indo-European West Asian hapogroups J2 (whose ancestor is West Asian haplogroup G and West Asian haplogroup R1b) and haplogroup R1b (K which is the ancestor of R1b (next to IVC haplogroup ancestor P) even the Europeans try to claim it is "irish" or Scandinavian" or "Finnish" or "Greek" or "Italian" nonsense as all of them originate in the Indo-European West Asian Near East - they only settled down in the westmostern European part of Indo-European West Asia)

Light features have nothing to do with haplogroups - its based on certain markers which originate next to PIE in the Indo-European West Asian Near East.

And no, we were not "Hurrian" - we are the cofounders of Median, Hittite and Hurrian language

The Kurdish people are not ethnically homogeneous. They are a mixture of different races, with the Persian race predominating.

I dont quite agree…they are known to have more mideastern and south asian dna, also more western asian… for ancient genome…almost all humanity shares ancient genome from europe, siberia, even africa, and the americas…i also dont think, the hittites and the caucasus have sth in common… the hittites werent indo europeanans and didnt speak a indoeuropean language… for the dna they have with the armenians and jews, its more that jews share ancestry with armenians, sometime in history they mixed with jews, thats how they got their ancestors…armenians themselves get furious when kurds compare themselves with them… i think kurds are more semitic…armenians however are mostly in the caucasus…
